If your transaction is getting declined before reaching the UPI PIN screen, it is because:
1. The transaction exceeds UPI Transaction limits defined by your bank and NPCI
a. You might have exceeded the UPI daily transaction limit of 10 transactions or a total of Rs. 1 lakh
b. You can send a maximum of Rs. 5000 in the first 24 hours after registration on slice UPI.
c. Your bank has enforced stricter transaction limits.
2. You have entered incorrect transaction details
a. Verify the QR scanned / UPI ID or bank account details entered
b. In case you entered bank account details, verify that the recipient bank is live on UPI from here: https://www.npci.org.in/what-we-do/bhim/live-members
3. You are trying to send money to a potentially fraudulent user
